Ew. I don't like the idea of that. I never really liked so much 80's stuff. It was kind of funny, and it would be FUN to wear, but I would never actually wear anything 80's while actually trying to look good.
Actually fashion trends are in time loop, if you can pick up the key elements and be more creative, maybe the next fashion leader is you:)
Oh yeah its been back for a few years, its just iv seen a lot of lately.Personaly im not a fan of the colour and pattern clashing.
Yeah, it came back like two years ago or so, dont like the 80`s or most of the 90`s fashion... :S Though I`ve never followed trends to the point that I wear them only `cause they are "in" right now..I mean, who cares.. I dress up however I want to. And it would be nice to see more outfits here on lb that dont include (wetlook)leggins with only a shirt on to go with it, stripped shirts or trousers, only black&white outfits etc... Some of them are nice looks but it gets pretty boring if you see them all the time... The same trends.. :/
I adore 80's fashion just how big and OTT it all is. Not so much on the shoulder pads haha
I love 80's fashion. I just did an 80's themed photoshoot last week.
Yeah in Australia the whole 80's trend has been going for a couple of years..First it was fluorescent coloured clothing, then everything high waisted, now it's leotards and shiny leggings with leather and bows. Personally, I love the whole stacy Q and samantha fox 80's look. It seems the 90's grunge look is replacing it in a big way now anyway.
Eurgh, shoulder pads. I don't mind most other 80's things, but I cannot deal with shoulder pads.
I see what you are saying. but I really think there is variation on this site, you saw alot of black and white in fall winter, because it made sense, now its lots of florals, pastels, and flowy/sheer outfits. or those destroyed denim shorts. ha. there are some great things from the 80's, kitten heeled pumps, black leggings, big knit sweaters (not the crazy kinds) cool tee shirts. google "a nos amours" and look at how sandrine bonnaire dressed in it, that was the epitomy of what 80's fashion should be classified as.
h&m's autumn/ winter collection is VERY eighties inspired and I actually adore it. I think some aspects are great, others, not so.
Same for the men's?
I think fashion depends on yourself personality .You don`t need to wear what you dislike. For me,i like 80`s fashion ,because I love vintage.hahaha :P
yum yum yum
Yeah, some people look good in them, butttt i dont really like them that much.
Ok, I can't wait for early 90s to come in.ESPECIALLY the old nike basketball shoes, like the:Nike Air Mach ForceNike Air Command ForceNike Air Solo Flightbecause all I can find now are the deadstock vintage ones, which are thousands of dollars!http://cgi.ebay.com/Nike-Air-Command-Force-Pressure-Pump-PE-Sample-Jordan-1_W0QQitemZ330329622635QQihZ014QQcategoryZ63850QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
i dont follow fashion because frankly i could never keep up ha,But my look has such an 80's influence as i buy lots of vintage.I love it, its so fucked up and so me.
