Absolutely. Billie Holiday and Nina Simone are my gurls. And I pretty much grew up with Nat King Cole.

THE WRONG SIDE OF THE OCEAN,
What is the name of that jazz singer we were watching a youtube video of over xmas? The one where the people watching her were all wearing really fabulous 50s sunglasses.
Most of the music I like was done either years before I was born or right around the time of my birth....I don't find myself liking lots of modern music. The Blues had a baby and they named it Rock 'n Roll. This album technically came out two months after I was born, but it is fittingly titled "Born Too Late" as I feel like as I was born too late.

oh and Sex Pistols, Queensryche and Rolling Stones
Ella Fitzgerald always makes me happy, a breath of fresh city air, I love her. Astrud Gilberto also makes me want to go to some warm place with lots of beaches, which is why I'm trying to convince my parents to let me go to St.Tropez and/or Brasil.
