i don't really like 2nd hand stores.because I feel a kind of disgusted when i wear the thrift from other people. could have been, that person has an infectious skin disease, isn't it?
Why not to shop the second hands? We can participate on saving materials as we can save earth <3Second hands will look good too if we know how to match it!
I am not a wasteful person so 2nd hand stores/thrift/consignment stores are the way to go.I pride myself of incredible fashion at a fraction of the price and would love to pursue a career in fashion consulting/styling but on a dime. I would suggest 2nd hand stores to anyone wealthy or not because some of the best statement pieces can be found. Utilize thrift stores, you never know what you can find.I feel like people who are against 2nd hand stores arent fashion forward, wealthy snooty girls wasting their money on trendy crap for 90 bucks a pop. As for people who are concerned about the person who last wore the garment...Ever hear of a washer machine, bleach, detergent etc etc? Or dont buy that specific garment due to it being soiled.

Love 'em, I just got two old tapes with my favorite stories as a kid and two denim jackets, it's awesome!
THE EAST COAST,
Love them! I just can't shop at the Salvation Army anymore; I've read an article that some of the money they rake in goes to anti-gay operations and stuff, and...well, if I want to marry my (female) fiancée, I can't support a cause that's trying to take my rights away. :(
I LOVE second hand stores but I have never ever found one in my city.. =[
That's awful. Nobody should shop there. I agree with you.

most of what i own is from op shops, i just love them! You can find the most random out of the norm things that you wouldn't usually. Or you can find something old but gold. expensive now cheap.

I love shopping in second hand shops. They are the best places to find some unique vintage pieces.
i shop at thrift stores so veeeery often because you can find the most wonderful and not popular pieces there! but they're becoming very popular and therefor, expensive :(
Is true that they are becoming expensive, but for me are still better than others

THE LAND BETWEEN SOLAR SYSTEMS,
love them! Some of my favorite shoes are from second hands stores - and I payed less than $10 on most of them....
Whoa, never knew that! There are none where I live, but I'll definitely stay away. That's just not right.

I love them so much. Have saved so much money thanks to my fave thrift stores!
I love second stores. I've gotten an Oscar de la Renta cardigan, sperrys, jackets, sweaters. I always wash or steam the items before I wear them out. Sometime I may change the buttons or something. But, I love them and I always find something awesome.

I know right? Even when you see people standing outside stores with the bell and red bucket around Christmas time, the money they collect partially goes to anti-gay ops. It's terrible. I can't even buy Silk brand soy milk anymore, for the same exact reason! :(
LOVE THEM where else will i get a sequined and embellished evening gown for $7? :)
Pass the Salt C.
I LOVE THEM XX

CHRISTCHURCH, NEW ZEALAND,
love them, most high street stores only have things that are "hot" or "in" at the time, and the choices are fairly limited, and the designer labels have a heavy price tag i like most people cannot afford so off to opshops!!

Really like them!It depends what shops you look in really. Some of the second hand stores have more little treasures in them than others, depending on where they are located,if you see what I mean?!!We have a little town down the road that has mostly an older population, and the stores there tend to have more 50s/60s/70s stuff, and full of little trinkits and things.Where the ones in town have newer stuff :) X
I give second hand stores the thumbs up.
