it took me about 7 weeks to get them to 1cm.
But i'd recommend you not to try it that fast but to wait between every step for at least 3 weeks
otherwise your ear is gonna turn black and blue and look disgusting like my ear did 2 months ago XD
anyway i"d only let a prof do it....
