About Me

Aisling Owens

I am studying English, Sociology and Politics at NUI Galway with a plan to complete a postgrad in Fashion Journalism once I obtain my degree. Ireland may not be among the fashion capitals of the world but within our little island I believe Galway to be one of the most fashionable cities. Fashion and art is everywhere in Galway; not just in the clothes - in the streets, the architecture, the water...It has a rugged charm which combines the traditional Irish element with a contemporary edge.
I would describe my style as Park Avenue princess meets rock chick!
My style icons change all the time, but the one constant one is Audrey Hepburn, because I adore the 1950s. At the moment I'm loving the style of Fearne Cotton and Imelda May.
