About Me

I've been an actor since the age of five or six. I just graduated college for musical theatre with a minor in entrepreneurship, also with a concentration in costume design. I have been sewing since I was nine or ten. High School is where I started altering or repairing vintage clothing. Once I got to college, I learned to make clothing from scratch; this is also where I learned to use a sewing machine. I inherited my grandmother's vintage 1970s sewing machine. Awesome. It's clunky, and it scares me, but it gets the job done. I still sew by hand, I feel as if I have more control of the garment and the detailing. I hope to go to FIT for my Master's... HOPE. Lol. I plan on moving to NYC soon, to pursue fashion interests and to audition for theatre. Lookbook has opened some doors to me in the modeling world, with such photographers as Cass Bird, for Rachel Roy. I hope that in using Lookbook I can gain some criticism for my creations, as well as my own personal look. I showed my first collection, Earth & Industry at Cincinnati Fashion Week in 2010. The name of my personal clothing line is "Psyber Psociety."
