The most disturbing (but not at all scary) film I've seen recently has to be 5150 rue des ormes (5150 elm's way), its a canadian/french psychological thriller. a true mindfuck, i must say. i love it!

I used to be so afraid of Freddy Krueger of Nightmare on Elm Street when I was a kid. But what really send chills down my spine are asian horror movies especially the Thai ones. Shutter is one of those movies. Really creeps me out. I think asian horror movies are scarier than their american counterparts because they seem more real when you're not familiar with the actors/actresses unlike when you see a known actor and you're aware they're just playing a role. =)
