I've found that cool tones are the fastest to fade - if I want the green to be super bright, I have to touch it up about every two weeks. Same deal with purple. Red, orange, and magenta however, lasted for ages! They fade, but it's not as noticeable - right now it's been about a month since I dyed my hair and it's about the colour of dead grass :/
