Blogging disaster struck: I follow about 3,000 here on lookbook, was followed by 11000 on Polyvore and have 100,000 posts on tumblr as well as a WordPress fashion blog with 11,000 more posts. That included my likes here and on Polyvore. Then the idiots who owned Polyvore couldn't figure out a way to make money off having 20 or so million designers and fashion forward thinkers. If you want to blame someone, go after Verizon, since it was a subsidy of theirs which sold Polyvore's emails to ssense and without much warning, folded up Polyvore. No time for quick 'cyber hugs'....no time for goodbyes for people known for years: just you showed up one day and there was this tacky message saying all the best gang, bye. My lookbook profile is based on a mirror of the once upon a time Polyvore fantasy, imaginary European boutiques, Acielle et Lacie. Fantasy boutiques in Paris, Oslo, Amsterdam, Milan, Vienna and Moscow, no less. So the links to much of that is all gone except for some images in the tumblr archives. Now, back to the real world: I have a new little Jeep , white so I can't find it in snowy parking lots, I like oversized books about art, architecture, fashion, gardening and modern design. Polaroid cameras.Blah, blah, blah. Silk, photography in general, modern design, fleece lined boots for winter. . Thank all of you for being so creative and providing me a look at the best of fashion internationally.
