It’s the 10th year anniversary of the highly anticipated Miami Fashion Swim Week, arguably one of the hottest spots for scoping out the latest in swimwear street-style. Taking place from July 17th – 21st at the “grand dame” of Art Deco, The Raleigh Hotel, this popular South Beach event has a more casual, fun and laid back vibe than your typical fashion week scene (this means lighter packing, warmer weather and vacation-ready attitude!).

This also means we’re more than excited to see what our favorite designers have in store for the week, with line-up bigwigs Wildfox, Mara Hoffman, Clover Canyon and the many other new “kids on the dock,” coming out to showcase their 2015 lines. Plus, with all the parties and satellite events popping up, the street swimwear scene here will be unprecedented, from a Ford Models yacht pamper party to rooftop pool soirees at the Soho House hosted by the likes of Guess, RVCA, and others.

So whether you’re hitting up the Miami party scene, scoping out this season’s runway offerings or just joining your friends for a dip at the local watering hole, we have an excess amount of swim season inspiration for you. This summer’s “fiercer version of the 90s” trends pack both attitude and personality, including the wild bunch (low-cut one-pieces in animal or jungle print, bold die-cuts and loud metallics), the stylishly sporty (surf shirts and rash guards, designed with neoprene, mesh and elegance) and the edgy classics (minimalist strapless tops with high-waisted bottoms, paired with nautical elements and flowy cover-ups). It’s amazing how such little fabric can make such a strong statement – so go ahead, get inspired, and see for yourself which ones of our favorite hottest-days-of-summer looks speak to you the most!

Eugenie Grey is ready to hit the sandy volleyball courts, and maybe squeeze in a surf sesh, with her neoprene suit (in sunset colors!) and airy mesh cover-up.

Micah Gianneli channels Aphrodite in a 50s-inspired solar panel silver swimsuit.

Never one to shy away from the daring neckline, Rachel Lynch gets the most out of the sun in a one-piece from Nasty Gal – and a cool refresher on hand!

Miami native Ria Michelle keeps jungle fever alive with deconstructed zebra stripes, a safari hat and lioness-orange locks.

The epitome of 90s-style fierce, Ashley Joncas sports a photo-print one piece of a growling tiger over black leggings, not too unlike those fitness craze junkies of the late 20th-century.

The ever-classy minimalist, Tiffany Borland’s suit is simple, sexy and flattering to any figure, with a deep neckline and central ribbing for that slimming effect.

Kryz Uy adds a playfulness to the nautical upper-crust look with muted neon colors and a fun-lovin’ attitude.

Just right for that romantic summer fling, Ria Michelle pairs a bikini top with a skater skirt and strappy heels for Miami-inspired date night look.

Manila, Philippines native Camille Co is no stranger to humid island weather. Her no-nonsense color-block bikini top is encumbrance-free while her flowy exotic print shawl keeps her decent throughout the day.

Ria Michelle’s look is the perfect mix of edgy and sporty with black-on-black mesh overlay, cateye shades, metal accents and a pair of cute creepers.

Jessica Christ channels Miley with a super-dope (in every sense of the word) one piece.
