Aside from being a major fashion label COMME des GARÇONS which means "like a guy/like guys" represents an aspect of my style which continues to borrow elements of menswear in creating my look. Though Im never been keen on prescribing to
an overall masculine look because I consider myself more androgynous, there is still something endearing about men's styles in all is varities and permutations.
About the look:
The whole polka dotted ensemble was inspired by COMME des GARÇONS's, Yayoi Kusama, as well as MarcJacobs Fall Winter 2011 collection. I love patterns done in repetitions. To further expand the look( citing Japanese and Korean cultural inspirations) I wore this ingenious wire framed hat that resembles an ancient Korean scholar's hat:)

this look is ravishing. dibs on the hat, gotta love jerome! ♥
And it's so great that you made an outfit inspired by Yayoi Kusama! Her works are gorgeous.
You're such an inspiration! I had to go back to lookbook just to see you.
this is truly genius sir andre.i adore comme des garcons to death for their modernity and timeless style.
adoring the whole polka dot obsession here.even the specs are round.and to break the pattern, this hat (wire framed and all) tops this amaaaaaaaazing look.very clever i must say,and it indeed resembles those ancient korean scholar hats with the shape it has...
