Open Doors Helicopter Tour of OAHU, Hawaii

Travel Inspiration for the weekend - this special travel post is featuring our #1 favorite moment from our Hawaii trip! When I was researching activities to do in Oahu, I came across helicopter tours of the entire island. Not only that but OPEN DOORS on the Helicopter ride...I was super excited (and a bit scared) to take in the amazing view and capture it all on camera. We booked the tour with Genesis Helicopter for a morning tour so we had the rest of the day to explore Waikiki. Even though the temperature was high 80s, we had to layer up in jackets & pants for the ride up in the air.
The tour was such a surreal experience enjoying the beauty and wonders of Hawaii from such a unique point of view. The tour took 60 mins to go from Honolulu Airport to Waikiki Beach then up to North Shore and back. It was the perfect way to see Oahu in one shot and be familiar with what the island has to offer.
