Today: "Expressed & Distressed"
Playlist: In and out - Mark Knight
It’s that toxic love affair with 90’s grunge movement, rock n roll and not giving a flying fuck about the do’s and don’t’s of fashion. I mean, look at this chick. Jeans torn to shreds, in a fit loser than our morals on a good day, a sartorial statement tee as meaningless as Mondays and a blazer hotter than Habanero.
However this has always been me, I guess I missed the sartorial click when all, well some, abandoned the skin-tight-glamour-puss uncomfortable notion and opted for the effortless look. This happened to me on the get go. I was born into this life. I didn’t choose this life, this life chose me. Haaaa, okay, my point is this though - Once boyfriend jeans and boyfriend blazers became a thing, we were hooked. Not on men. Errr, well. But rather on their assets and relaxed silhouette. Today boyfriends and baggy tee’s are quintessential and sported on the regular.
This one plays politely on the grungier, semi-disheveled vibe with a splash of confident class carried effusively by the red hot blazer over the gratuitous slogan tee. Pretty cool, am I right?
