Living in the Bay Area isn't easy. With the hills, and the random weather changes— Partially thanks to Karl The Fog coming in and out) dressing for Winter is tricky. To avoid looking like a hot weatherly confused mess I layer up. Layering can be tricky but if you stick to your staples that have sick detailing it makes an incredible difference. For instance, versus wearing a plain scarf I bulked up by wearing a faux fur scarf. It keeps me insanely warm and when I'm sweating chunks from walking the hills of SF I can easily take it off. For some insulation it never hurts to rock leather in the winter; in fact, winter may as well be the one time of the year where it is acceptable to wear leather pants and not look or feel like a cougar. All in all the trick in mastering the art of Winter is to stick to your basics, focus on the sick detailing, and layer the heck up.
