Winter is finally slipping away, but before it’s totally gone, I had to squeeze in one last wintery themed outfit! I was recently sent this scarf from Superdry and I totally wish I had it earlier in the season. It’s the warmest scarf I have ever worn! It is called the Herder Snood and I got mine in this gorgeous navy colour with silver metallic threads woven in. But the best part? This whole snood is lined with the softest fleece lining. It’s so warm and cozy and absolutely perfect for those cold winter days when all you want to do is stay snuggled in a blanket. This scarf is basically a blanket.
For the rest of my outfit, I decided to go with a simple monochrome grey look. I used to be so terrified of pairing grey on grey, but I have recently started to love the trend! So, I paired my grey Citizens jeans with a grey peacoat and then layered a grey striped turtleneck underneath. And then, for even more grey, I carried my favorite grey Michael Kors Selma purse! You can never have enough grey! It really is the perfect colour!
I felt that grey shoes would be a little overwhelming with this outfit so instead, I decided to break it up a little with my new Nike Air Max Thea’s in the black leather! I have been absolutely loving these sneakers ever since I picked them up on Boxing Day. And I got a great deal on these! I got them at a local shop here in Edmonton called Foosh where my brother actually works. On boxing day, Foosh was 50% off the whole store, including all of their shoes which is unheard of! So, I decided it was the perfect time to pick these beauties up! Because of the leather, I feel like they are such a nice winter sneaker where as my Roshes are more reserved for the summer.
So that’s my last winter look. I feel like I am going to jinx myself and we are going to have another cold spurt and a heavy snowfall and winter will last for another couple of months. But right now, it’s looking like winter is going away for good. We can only cross our fingers and hope.
