What is freedom?
I've wondered often during my young life, and especially in recent days when he still celebrates the approval of civil unions between persons of the same sex in Italy, in these days at the start of Pride month, in these days of people fleeing in search of safety, in these days when I would take and drop everything to run away from the world, just a backpack, between the Andes Chilean or African tribes. In these days when the sun is finally here and I want to feel lighter, less hard on myself.
If I think of the freedom I think of the sea, as it stretches toward the horizon infinite well being finished, its not bothering to have boundaries of any kind; because I believe there are many kinds of freedom, but they all have the lowest common dominator to break down borders, to go beyond imagination, to loosen constraints and overcome limits.
White is the leitmotiv of this look, because for me it is the color that most of all is this feeling, a feeling in its purest state, the sum of all colors, and the color of light.
Perhaps because freedom comes down to this: get out of the shadow area, and immerse yourself in a sunbath, run barefoot with the wind in your face as the wandering clouds that are dispersed in the sky without wondering where to go.
