Yesterday I decided to wear this in public. That night I went to my friends' house where I got three temp tats, all referring to expensive jewelry (bling, ice, diamonds, you get the picture...basically I was channeling my inner circa 80s Madonna w/ her love for the materialistic, to add to the head scarf and corset.) Then I ventured off to a birthday party/show where we brought the host a cupcake that might or might not have fallen on the ground and kicked on the way there. Next, we hit up some random house party that wasn't really a party because they had snack bowls, but then someone got in a heated discussion about who was more of a douche-bag, and people kept falling on the floor and bleeding. So we left, and ended up at an after-hours bar/dance party/warehouse where I danced it up to sweet oldies jams till 6:30 in the AM. As I was leaving, some super old hipster dude with his super old hippie wife pinned me against a wall, stared at my head, and asked me if I tied my hair bow myself. Um, I guess I'm pretty awesome at tying bows?? But before I left my house, however, I tried on all these $1/free beauty products Marie Claire was giving away. I pretty much had on every product at once. My nails were painted, my pores were smaller, my smile was brighter, my blemishes were concealed, my lips were stained, my face was moisturized, my elbows were bronzed, my eyelids were painted, my eyelashes/brows were conditioned, my wrinkles were reduced, heck, even my future UTI symptoms were prevented! Really, what more could a girl want? Marie Claire saved my life!!!!!!11
as for this look, lovely as per usual. i'm loving all the layers and that boy really is quite nicely tied.
