Who doesn't love a velvet leather combo? I like the idea of combining something timeless (velvet) with something edgy (leather). I love finding pieces that are unique to the trend, like this top. Recently, my mom and I went to KOP (king of prussia mall) to explore the new Anthropologie, free people, Urban Outfitters takeover. O-M-G! It is heaven on earth. Needless to say, after spending hours upon hours in these URBN owned stores, we came out with bags galore. One of my favorite pieces from our shopping spree, was this free people we the free velvet doran tee in sangria. When viewing this top online, the color looks more pink, however, in person, as you can see, it looks more red--just FYI! Personally, I like the way the color looks in person a lot better. This tee is designed for an effortless look. The fabric is lush and not cheap looking like some velvet can appear. It definitely has that oversized, slouchy feel. I bought a size small and it fits exactly as it should! Feeling grey/black velvet instead? Free people has got you covered! Price tag? $78.
Velvet scarves? Yes please! Forever 21 has killed it with this black velvet scarf. Skinny neck scarves are one of the recent trends hitting stores for fall and winter. I purchased this scarf at Forever 21 not too long ago. However, when I went online to link this product for you, it's not there. Have no fear! I am going to attach a couple other scarves you can check out :)
I am not one for sequins and flashy gems, but this sequin oblong scarf is pretty dope. forever21.com/Product/Product.aspx?BR=f21&Category=acc_scarf-gloves&ProductID=1000216136&VariantID=
