Into The Woods: Cozy In Plaid

As much as I love beaches, palm trees and sand between my toes. Sometimes I just crave a little wilderness excursion in the crisp fall air. As I grew impatient waiting for fall weather to arrive in LA, I finally decided to take matters into my own hands. Danny and I loaded up the car and went off in search of a cozy cabin in the woods. Growing up on the east coast, I got to experience all of the seasons (even though it was sometimes for a bit longer than I would have liked). Big Bear is about an hour and a half away from LA but you feel like you are so much further. We caught glimpses of the sparkling lake at every twist and turn and the panoramic views that we saw on our way up the mountain are something that will be etched into my memory forever. Big Bear Lake is the perfect place to have a wilderness getaway. We went horseback riding, canoeing, had a picnic on the lake and even roasted s'mores! And I was so happy to finally pull out some of my favorite cozy scarves, coats and boots.
