Beanies and fedoras are a fashion girls favorites during cold weather seasons, but no hat collection is complete without a beret. Beyond the official duties of the topper in the military, the beret has almost become a cliche symbol of Parisian style. The statement piece has been around for years and topped the heads of style icons like Twiggy and Brigitte Bardot. Some may find the beret a little harder to pull off, but at the end of the day the hat is what one may call “Tres Chic”

The Gucci version I have on today is crafted from red leather and sits smoothly on the top of the head, adding a stylish touch and pop of color. I have said it before, but I am going to say it again! Red is SO striking. I decided to style the vibrant color with a checked faux fur from Alice and Olivia and Christian Dior pumps for an elegant look that can be worn day to night.
