#dtwtakesnewyork - LITTLE ITALY, NEW YORK CITY
Guys, this day was the most fun. Real eventful, somewhat concerning haha as my sister found herself crawling on the streets of #chinatown like a young spider monkey. But it started pretty beautifully. In my family we have tradition, “Family Sunday’s”, and as luck would have it we had our parents with us on this trip. Only missing brother hen, who I know would have potentially appreciated #littleitaly. Tradition called for visiting the phenom bakery – #thecupcakemarket on 2nd Ave. We went for Kim and Kanye, however that idea got Trumped, quite literally and we had to settle for the controversial presidential candidates. At a cost obviously, and a notable cost at that, as my sister’s credit card will tell you! haha! So we sat down for some treats with Kanye and Donald and all was said and done.
Thereafter we shipped the golden oldies off to do some shopping, old people bro, so difficult. Jokes, I love them. They’re cute. So somehow Ling and I rendered a round trip towards China and Italy. Quite the experience what with my sister tugging on my heart strings as she ice-skated through China Town and getting totally lost in the maze of Little Italy. For the life of us we couldn’t get out. We walked a hella lot but to no avail. Saving grace came from a GNC who loaded us up and escorted us back to safety. When DTW are alone ya’ll, shit goes down.
We were cute though, as we simultaneously rocked our #allblack everything ootd’s. The ubiquitous #pufferjackets over bell sleeved trousers and #leather slacks. Faux fur floored slip-ons and golden booties. Outfits were on fuego for this little ad hoc adventure. Mind you, these #boots are of the utmost comfort and they are from the FIX ya’ll. Impressed. So puffer jacket, tailored for outdoor pursuits. Fitting! Leather Trousers for some high street swaggoo and boots dipped in #gold. What a time to be alive.
