There are days you feel soft and delicate. Then there are days where you feel like wearing black and telling the world to, “F**k off!” Guess which day this was? Yup, you guessed it. I feel like there are a lot of these days lately, especially with what’s happening south of our borders in the U.S. It’s kind of scary to me. And when I feel the anger and fear bubble up in me, I have to remind myself that though the world is hard, I need not be.
Though I gotta say, some days you need to put on some armor and your resting bitch face, because sometimes it’s hard to be soft. But I spent a lot of my life breaking downt he hardness built up from childhood, and damn it, I’m not gonna let the haters in this world set me back. Love and keep loving – hatred is easy.
Hah. Here endeth the PSA. But remember, if you need to feel fierce, put on an awesome black dress.
