What do you do when you’re in the middle of a weird warm Fall reaching temperatures of 30 degrees and you’re a freelancer? You get the heck out of dodge and get your butt to a cottage. That’s what you do.
I’ve always believed that you can’t run away from your problems. You’ll always be you just in a different location. But sometimes stepping out of your life for just a bit can refresh and give you better perspective. So while running away won’t help, hitting pause and ignoring life for a bit may.
And seriously, what better way to ignore life for a bit than on a gorgeous lake with the best friends a gal could ask for?
