"CRÉME DE LA CRÉME"
So if you’ve been following my travel diary, you will recall the central theme of celebrating my beautiful sister’s birthday. Part one, bagging the chanel, however part two is where all roads would lead to and that my friends, is a luxe fashion foodie experience at Saint Tropez’, Dior des Lices - Café Dior. We awoke in our beautiful Cannes Villa, wishes, wales and walks later, we embarked on the Cote’d’azur boat cruise to our resort collection destination. I had planned this months in advance, mind you, cause I’m just the most awe inspiring sister. We roamed the styling and summer streets of Saint Tropez, drenched in rustic restoration and iconic opulence and were primarily seated in the garden of the House of Dior. We reveled, we ate, we drank, they sang, she smiled, we lounged, we lived and it was a memorable and momentous birthday lunch. One for the books, Saint Tropez, you have been bookmarked.
This creamy slip dress, had been through the most I tell you. Once the design had been manufactured, pencil to product, I domesticatedly, not a word, ironed off the entire torso. Long story short, it had to be reworked and unconditionally worked, scrunched up, pinned and perfectly placed. I milked it, and its deconstruction allowed for numerous silhouettes within the variety of French Riviera backdrops. Owed predominantly to the creamy shade on this staple, the coconut milk off white, which as per Pantone is perfectly conceived for an exotic journey. I mean, need I say more?
