The good news? It has become socially acceptable to wear your pajamas in public.
(Yes, you read that correctly)
Even better news? It can actually be quite chic.
Sleepwear turned streetwear is/ has been having a moment for a while now, especially as comfort becomes more and more of a priority to consumers when making a new purchase. Comfort, combined with the innate chicness of leisurewear and luxurious fabrics are some of the main factors that have lead to pajama dressing reaching new heights. To top it off, this street-style luxe ‘trend’ has opened doors for newer brands that specialize in the ‘from bed to party look’
One of my absolute favorites is the brand Sleeper. I’m sure you will recognize some of the pieces, as they are way too adorable to miss or forget. The sets with the feather trim?!? That’s them! As well as the linen set pictured here I wore during NYFW. Their pieces are way too chic JUST to be worn at home, hence why they are regularly spotted on people out on the town as a set or separates, and both day or night.
To compensate for the relaxed look, it’s important to add polished elements so you don’t look like you really did just roll out of bed! Statement boots are usually my go-to!
