but i gotta admit.... after thrifting for so long for the vast majority of my clothes, buying brand new things is such a treat! i love it! and i love how special it feels. :3
that's awesome!! and yeah some things are just sooooooo not worth it to buy full price brand new in a retail store, ya know? i mean 60 bucks for a plain blouse compared to about 5 for the same thing... i know what i'm mostly likely gonna purchase! it also really helps a lot for someone like me who is on a spending budget! plusssss it's just fun fun fun :)
awe, I'm so glad to hear your first trip thrifting was a success! I'd love to know or see what you found! I went to a Good Will yesterday myself and found a cute romper and shirt in my latest uploaded look :) + I found some other cool knick knacks that aren't fashion related. wo0o ho0oo0o!
ahh, thank you so much! ♥ you are so cute! ^.^ yeah, surprisingly garage and ardene can have some really nice things. it's a bit of a hit & miss... i especially like ardene for their high socks, tights, fishnets etc... a whole lot of girls around here wear clothing from garage so i don't particularly like to shop there very often...but once in a while i pick up the odd cute item! :) (like the aztec skirt in my photos hehe.) i am from oakville, a town in between mississauga & burlington...pretty close to toronto, right in the GTA. i usually shop at local value villages or salvation army thrift shops! once in a while i like to stop at name brand consignment shops. i know there is one in burlington but i can't remember the name of it at the moment... but i have shopped at different thrift shops in the following cities: oakville, burlington, grimsby, acton (if you know where all these places are) lol. i hope this answers your question! ♥
