Does anyone on this here forum love Buck 65 as much as I do? Or has even heard of him? If so, do let yourselves be known!

I haven't gone out and bought every CD by him, only because I haven't had the chance, but I have heard a few songs and those few, I love.
Between "Wicked and Weird" and "Blood of a Young Wolf", I've got to say, I'm definitely open to more ;)

@Audrey B.

He's playing a show in Toronto January 22nd, I don't know how close by that is to Newfoundland, though :-/

But, yeah, those are two awesome songs!

I met him a few years back.....he has touched on a pretty amazing array of musical styles and has done some strange stuff.

He also used to be on Anticon, which are one of my favourite record labels.

"Crack.......Crack.....
Box of bones beneath my bed
Crow's foot always in my pocket
Big black circles, shooting pains
Stick a knife into a socket
Bottle rockets, rubber bands
Throw a good book out the window
Boil water, spill the beans
Sit still, listen to the wind blow
Burn the photos, kill the lights
Hold your breath, spy on your neighbours
Do the tango with a broom
Wrap the presents with newspapers
Fly a kite late at night
Take a walk along the coast
No matter what I still can't sleep
Everywhere I still see ghosts

Selected works of Karl Marx
The greatest hits of Bill Monroe
Midnight on the stormy deep
Where did all the children go?
Angels on the tops of trees
Baseball in a prison yard
Lovers in the cemetary
Close your eyes, it isn't hard
Wicked witches cast their spells
My heart's been broken more than most
No matter what I still can't sleep
Everywhere I still see ghosts

Pupils dilate, eardrums bleed
Students riot in the square
Records break but so do bones
There's something evil in the air
So lock the door and spill your guts
Slit your writsts and say you're sorry
Take the day off, stay in bed
Throw your voice and change your story
Stranger things have happened, captain
Learn the words and make them true
Play their music backwards, listen
Even promises break in two
Pins and needles, freezing pain
We're not there yet, not even close
No matter what I still can't sleep
Everywhere I still see ghosts

Go outside and take your clothes off
Dig a hole and lay down in it
Swallow hard and make a fist
The world could end at any minute
So take the train, get right with God
Shoot the stars and smoke some crack
Pack your bags, put on your shoes
Go far away and don't come back
Broken glass, razor wire
The TV's on but no one's home
How everything's the way I like it
Not a sound, I'm all alone
Inside out and upside down
I bang my head against a post
No matter what I still can't sleep
Everywhere I still see ghosts"

I think lyrically (is that how you spell it?) that, along with Phil and Blood Of A Young Wolf, is his best. Watched the Youtube video, thanks for posting the link, that wa sone of the few videos involving Buck 65 I haven't seen :)

Haha its a niiiice bit away from me, but thanks though!
I'm entirely hooked on "Blood of a Young Wolf" now, with *zoom, kick, persuasion, tech, zoom, kick, persuasion, tech* repeating over and over in my head.

His lyrics have come a long way since he was 'Uncle Climax with a fist full of titty fat".
