I've been dating my boyfriend for almost 2 years, and I have no idea what to give him for valentines. I feel shitty about it.

I'd make him his favourite dinner and then get him something he's been wanting to get but hasn't yet. Like... a video game or some kind of object that he has been wanting.

This kind of advice is difficult because I don't really know your boyfriend personally. You'd be better just asking him if you don't know.

I wouldn't really get an actual gift, though recieving one would be nice. But I mean... Valentine's Day doesn't strike me as a very gift-giving sort of day; it should, rather, be a day of appreciating them. So like, romantic things are really awesome in my book. A nice dinner out with something really chocolatey for dessert, or maybe a sexy/sensual massage.

But Lici speaks truth! Food. Food is a surefire winner.

I agree with all of the above comments. I bake so I plan on making my boyfriend some of his favorite things. Other than that though, I'm focusing more on the plans for that day. Save the actual gifts for birthdays and whatnot. :)

Hmm, that title's a little depressing :(

Maybe you can make him some homemade chocolates?

You should be like, "Oooh, I've got a cool idea! Let's go to ______ for Valentine's." Easy peasy! :]

I used to have a really romantic night in with the ex boy.
we'd stay inside and spend hours trying to cook then finally ordering take out.
the most we ever bought for each other was twenty dollar giftcards haha

one of my best girlfriends got her man an armani jacket and he got her tiffany and co. earrings.
some people go all out.

i'm giving my boyfriend of 8 months a custom made "the strokes" shirt (same as shia labeuof wore in the transformers movie). i got it custom made because no shop here sells it, or anything close to it. :)
