So why is everybody here so beautifully skinny?
Don't slightly bigger people have fashion sense?
Just wondering.

i don't agree that clothes look a lot better on skinny people.it is a wrong idea people have.ofcourse it will look bad when bigger sizes are not available for bigger people and they have to squeeze into something smaller.
look out for better dressed people.not their sizes.i know lots of gorgeous big women who carry off clothes very well.

'sticks' ha, not all of us have eating disorders to impress lookbooks hot page, yeah its a shame most of the girls on it are slim, but who cares, make a good enough outift and maybe you will be but on, instead of moaning one about 'stick' thin girls dominating the hot page.
I find it ridiculous that half of the bigger ladies out there in this world would be totally offended if i called them fat
yet it seems to be totally fine for them to call me, and girls my size, stick thin, too thin, or presume we have eating disorders.

i hate humans

You're like my younger sister, she doesn't eat that huge portions too. But she is a kinda bigger than me. But my mom said it's because her body "absorbs" faster fat than vitamens >,<'
Maybe that is your problem too. And WOW! If I compare myself with you, I feel a lazy. I only cycle for about 5 hours a week -I cycle to school- And I've two hours PE.

And I'm happy you don't want to get freaking skinny. -I think those people are scary-

Some people are just skinny by nature, it's not their fault!

I agree that ALL body tupes are beautiful, but you shouldn't pick on someone just because they're skinny.

I know quite a few people that are slightly overweight, or even only barely so, but they're afraid to post on LookBook just for the reason that it's generally skinnier folks who are usually hyped. They're afraid that, looking at themselves, they won't compare and it isn't worth it. I beg to differ however--at least personally, I hype on LookBook based solely on the outfit, and not on the person. (At least, I try my very best to!) So that could be one reason though--people who are not super thin may be swayed away from using the website.

I think fashion can look good on any body type, you just have to pick the right items for yourself. I was extremely thin as a young child, but ever since puberty I've been a very average weight, and it's never dropped or risen for any reason.
Most people (Skinny, overweight, or average) can't help being the way they are, for better or for worse. Any change is hard, and knowing this, I think it's very rude to make fun of anything regarding their body, no matter their size!

I feel the very same way! I have always had wide hips, and it makes me feel very different from everyone else. Even when I was on track in highschool and was a low weight, the proportion of my hips was no different!

But I've learned to work with it, even though at times I find myself envying the girls with legs that go for miles. You can be pretty no matter what your size! <3

this topic did not ask about people in high fashion.this site is not about high fashion.
you don't need to be a certain size to have a sense of style or knowledge of fashion.
there are many people in the fashion industry who are not skinny.this kind of attitude pisses me off.

"hot pages tend to be dominated by skinny people"

Fact. People should hype based on clothing... Not your waist size

I never really thought about it but I guess you're right, I haven't seen any larger people around here but I am pretty new so maybe that's why. I doubt that there aren't any on here.

I agree with you. The amount of people who have just ASSUMED I have an eating disorder because I am skinny is disgusting. Even people who are supposed to be health professionals.
I eat like a normal person. I do not have an eating disorder. Yes, I will be offended if you call me anorexic or a 'stick' just as they would be offended if I called then fat.

As someone who has had an eating disorder in the past (and then got fattened up which was horrible) I get pretty pissed off when people think girls are pretty because they are skinny. If they are overly fat (not like normal or a little bit overweight) they always complain or be rude to skinnier people. One must focus on one's personality before they think about others.

There are some amazing people on here who aren't size 00 with an amazing sense of style, and it would be a huge loss the lookbook community if they didn't post their stuff

you can be inspired by skinny or bigger fashion, it's all lovely

I agree with you, I had an eating disorder in high school and it was the worst experience of my life. I'd rather be able to eat healthily and what I want than to starve myself to look better to others.

If people want to judge me for this and think of me as less attractive, they are welcome to. At least I'm happy.

Also, you shouldn't worry Elle E. You're gorgeous!

I'm on the low end of average, but I wouldn't say there no "bigger" people on here, definitely a lot of normal sized people who know what a good camera is and that can be mistaken for "being thin/skinny". I don't think it matters about size, just knowing how to dress your body.

It's not always about hyping slim people, because some of those 'slim people' are really professional at what they do (for example, some are models, or photographers) and the entire outcome of the picture looks great - which is what catches someone's eye, and hype.

You can't control who hypes what, so just be yourself, wear what you like, and have confidence in your individual style. Lookbook is about expresing yourself, not gaining acceptance from online strangers you may never meet. If you be yourself, someone's bound to notice :-)

And if you have a problem or insecurity with the way you look just research on how to lose weight (but the healthy way).

And some of my super skinny friends wish they weren't that skinny :/ To each his own!

Hey Debi i totally agree with u that bigger size people have i good fashion sense..u r not skinny n u have a great fashion sense..i just love all of ur looks..u look FAB :) i just feel that skinny people have a lil edge over d others.. By that i mean suppose a skinny person is wearing an outfit which is not that great, but coz of his skinny figure d overall look seems 2 b good..again this is just my personal observation :)

well you seem to be agreeing with a lot of people who have slighty contradictory statements as well.
i appreciate that you think my fashion sense is great.however my opinions were not stated for fishing compliments.i meant every girl who is big & bigger.
and i don't agree with your observations.that's all.a crappy outfit is crappy on anyone.i don't validate people's dressing sense based on how much their skin stretches over their bodies.
anyway i feel a bit exhausted of this stupid size/weight topic right now.
