I adore Topshop, get so many beautiful clothes from there, but sometimes I think it can be overated, what do you think?

some stuff i look at and can just tell it's topman, i hate that with stores.
them bloody two for ten pound t-shirts that everyman and his dog wear.

Er just because you people can't afford it doesn't make it overpriced. It's not their fault that most of you people are teenagers relying on pocket money.

You can talk when Topshop/man prices approach Diesel's level of pricing.

And yes, Topshop is a pile of SHITE, so it is most definitely overrated.

Yeah, it is.
As for pricing... here, its reasonable, but in the Japanese Topshop (saw examples on a blog), the same item will be hundreds of UK pounds.
I guess it depends where you live.

i find that most of the tops are overpriced, and the jumpers and cardigans are pretty pricey too. the jeans are really good though.

I think that everything except Topmans Jeans is not worth the time or money. They have nice scarves and shoes though but they are kindof overpriced.

I think so! I don't shop in there at all as it's over priced and I just cant afford with my student funds, so i really dont know if the quality of the pieces are really worth it? They do have nice clothes though i have to admit (but doesnt everyone think that?)
In my opinion, they seem to try hard to have unique designs etc, then everyone decides to wear em so where's the originality in that?

Yeah, I think their clothes are still fresh, but it may be due to the fact that I live in the US and there aren't really any topshops within a 500 mile radius of me. I went to one in europe once, and the staff were kind of pricks. Maybe because they knew I was a tourist...

Topman... overpriced and overrated? mmm, i suppose but because I'm a size XS (ah, being a 'petite' fella does have it's ups and down), it's one of the few places in the UK that I can find my size AND actually fits me properly. Anyway, Topman tops are slightly bit tapered and that shape really flatters my body... slightly snug at the top, and falls loosely at the waist... it kinda makes me looks more buff than I really am. It's like, I've been working out even without actually working out! :-D

New Look? Oh dear. Well of course it's overpriced if you compare it to a shit hole like New Look.

Eventually you will learn that you have to pay for good quality stylish clothes. I'm sure Topshop/Topman would have seemed expensive to me when I was 15, but once you earn money and are able to afford nice things you will remember New Look and want to vomit in your mouth.

Although i do have a number of items from Topman, personally i don't really like the clothes overall. And i have a massive problem with those tshirtsthat are like 3 for 12 quid with the sicko collar.

I don't think it's that overpriced.
Some things are, but it's similarly priced to other high street shops.
I can't complain, half my wardrobe came from Topshop.

everytime i go in there i end up coming out tutting to myself saying "they're way too big for their boots". and they are. massively overpriced, although i do like some of the things. i just bought some wooden clog-sandal things from there and i love them, and i am so fussy with shoes. but otherwise i stick to the sale items! also i want some good shorts but all their shorts and skirts are so short. i'm a 5 foot 7 size 8 and my arse hangs right out of them, it's indecent.

It would be nice if I could get my hands on a few TOPSHOP items.

It would definitely be overrated if topshop stores started opening here and there in the United States. Everyone would be wearing it.
