I'm an avid DIYer. I don't buy raggedy jean shorts, I make them. Some of my skinny jeans are skinny because I sewed them so. My headbands, my bracelets, and most of me necklaces are handmade. And, all of my tote bags are made by me.
So, what of yours did you make?

I have fixed jeans and shirts, but starting from scratch, non.
I admire anyone that can do clothes from scratch coz I've tried and it is NOT that simple. :P

anyway, I have done some of my jewelry stuff though.

God, so many. The dress in my only look, I made. As well as about a quarter of my closet and half of my favorite purses. The things I don't make from scratch, I alter in some way (I tailor everything I buy). I've been sewing for four years, now, I love it so much. It's so great to find other DIYers, too. I haven't started on jewelry but I just might soon.

I don't really make my clothes from scratch (i'm shit too), but I alter and fix things up. I think I've made a tshirt once. In school. I did do lot's of bags and such, but it's so much easier than to make clothes.

all my denim cutoffs are just old jeans. i shred tshirts and otherwise customise them, but i haven't undergone anything big like making anything from scratch, and i make origami necklace pendants and small jewellery items.

A few, I have a couple of skirts made from scratch, as well as a pair of leggings. Also have some reconned stuff, as well as just doing basic alterations to quite a lot of pieces. Sewing is a useful skill to have, esp if you buy clothes that don't fit quite right, saves money on tailoring!

I do some modifications (regular jeans to skinny, fixing buttons, etc)
& I also make a lot on my own, from patterns, or if it's a basic item like an elastic skirt, freehand.
I think anyone could learn if they have the desire to! When I tell people I make clothing they get really excited about it.

I've made a skirt, two tops and a dress.
And some mittens when I was in third grade. Haha
And oh, several pajamasshort. I love making pajamasshorts, so easy, and they're really comfy. =)

Probably about half my wardrobe... I reckon I probably alter the rest. But I'm a designer so I just can't help myself :)

I've made a couple of dresses and a skirt so far!
I only recently got my sewing machine so I've been teaching myself to make clothes from scratch, with and without patterns. I'm going to try and whip up some beach clothes this weekend for my holiday in Spain!

I've made 8 things from scratch and have altered almost every piece of clothing. It's kind of funny how people say their shit because they've only made cut off shirts and ripped jeans, but that is impossible for me today it seems so hard! I've tried and just can't figure it out :(

I'm one of the shit guys, made nothing from scratch apart from a dress for a textiles exam. But I intend to customise clothes and make tote bags as soon as I get my sewing machine working, and customisation of shirts starts at the end of the month when I have money to buy shirts. Can't wait!!

I alter so many clothes I buy at thrift stores and such, but I think I only have one skirt I actually made myself.

Nothing from scratch. I've cut up a pair of jeans into shorts, and I've printed a design on a top but that's about it. I'd like to be able to make stuff but I can't.
I'd LOVE to make my own jewelery, but that stuff I want to make would probably include really fancy metal work :(

My Mum is amazing though, she recently lost loads of weight and has made herself 3 dresses and 1 skirt. It's mainly because nowhere has nice things in the right length! She usually alters all my clothes too, like putting darts in jeans for me. She helped me with the shorts because I did a turn up and needed to use the sewing machine.

That jumpsuit was actually a dress, I modified it with safety pins...
But my point is the clutch: I bought a wooden box and stuck some fancy silver cardboard on it, nailed two picture hooks on the sides and braided a rainbow cord.

Make - None. Reinvent - Mostly shorts.
I used to love wide leg jeans and turn them into shorts later on.
