When I began learning how to play guitar I swore to myself that I would never learn "smells like teen spirit" "smoke on the water" or "stairway to heaven"

Haha same here. Those and the intro to sweet child o mine.
I feel like that annoying kid at the guitar center playing a little intro riff over and over again haha :D

This one, though I think it may be hard. Would be cool to try though probably... (I don't play).

Well no, they're good, well written songs that have been butchered by almost every other person whose played them apart from the original artists.
Almost everyone plays the wrong variation of chords for Smoke On the Water. Most of the online tabs for that song are wrong.

I mean sins as in, they are over played. It's sad that good songs have been reduced to such reputations because of the greatness that made them so famous in the first place. Such is the human race and the music industry. Of course they are well written songs, I don't doubt that or question it for one second.
I totally agree with the online tabs thing too, but I guess at the end of the day those websites are made as a forum such as this one for the use of novice's and professionals alike.
