I thought wearing in boots was a thing of the past!

But no matter how many times I wear my red docs, or even my smaller white pair, they still give me terrible blisters on my heels. My heels have always been narrow, but I've had my red ones for two years and my white ones for a year already.

Is there anything I can do to make the leather softer? Or maybe something to ease the wrinkles in them enough so they won't keep cutting/bending in the same place every time I walk?

i have mine for almost a year and they are fine as long as i dont wear them barefoot(who would even do that!?) or straight on a pair of thin tights.

if i want to achieve the effect of a bare ankles inside a big boot i still wear socks that keep my soles from wounding, just short enough so that no one actually sees it. you might try using plasters just in case. i do that with docs and some high heels if i know i would be wearing them for a long time. it's better to prevent than heal the wounds!
