Give some RESPECTFUL fashion/ photography/ post advice to the person that posted before you.

Lookbook is designed for flattering people looks and pics, that's great, but sometimes it could be good to listen to other's advice and opinions just to improve. (If you apply it is up to you)

This can be a good tool for newbies but it's necesary to be courageous enough to listen to critiques and to be sincere yet tactful.

I'm ready..

Oh gee. That's a problem. Haha I don't have colorful clothes on deck. But will try to buy some that could "pop". I do have lots of accessories and handbags, I just don't put them in with the shots. But I could use some detail shots of my things, too. Thanks Shaz. Dear god, thought it was gonna be harsh or something. Will try to spice it up next time

And oh, that's why you hyped "The 48th", it's the only colorful shirt I have as of the moment. Haha thanks for that! :)

This is my fave look of yours: lookbook.nu/look/1625211-Time-is-flying-like-a-bird
The relaxed pose is great and continue to rock jewellery like bracelets and especially earrings.

If you one day get bored of your hair down or in a ponytail, maybe try your hair in an elegant bun or a braid at the side like this: fashionstyleadvice.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/picture2.png

I'd love to see you smile more.

Try match the colour of belts with the colour of bags, to tie looks together more.

Instead of the shirts you tie over dresses or tops like in your last 2 looks, perhaps cropped cardigans for a neater look.

@ next critiquer, while I appreciate all comments, I'd love to hear what you think about my actual clothes and style, what you don't like, and suggestions!

Very nice looks overall! My only criticism would be that the locations you use are sometimes a little distracting and maybe your poses are sometimes quite unnatural? But there's nothing seriously wrong with them :)

To whoever critiques me, I know that my earlier looks are quite weak, I have attempted to improve on them in my more recent looks.

@ Helen, hullo again. How's the blog going?
With almost 2k karma with only 11 looks, you are doing very well IMO.

In Barely Floral and Cable Knit I think reddy/brown shoes will look nicer, maybe some heeled brogues, which I also think is your sort of style.

Commented on it before but I think your hair is gorgeous when it's wavy like in your most recent few looks.

Like in Knee-highs and Navy Blue (love long socks btw) I think perhaps add a thin to medium thickness belt to cover up the gathered-up seam which joins the top and skirt on dresses like this. I think it'll make the dress look more high-end. Also maybe add a simple hairband?

Pastels is my fave look of yours; maybe add a little bit of wrist bling (i.e. rope bracelets and chains and elasticated bracelets etc.) for a finishing touch.

The place where you're shooting your recent looks now, the flowery wall, is great as long as it's nice and bright (which it is in your looks).

Glad to see another person shopping at supermarkets for clothes, like Tesco. Hate it when people look down on supermarket clothes because they're just as good as say, New Look, if not better in quality.

Just so you know I saw some nice long socks in Tesco, in dark red and dark blue and grey at least, for decent prices, go check it out?

NEXT POSTER CRITIQUE HELEN

Thank you for your comments, funny you mentioned heels and bag because I shoot batches of looks at a time (only way I can do it I'm afraid =/) and 'release' them slowly; heels and a bag are exactly what's in my next 2 looks in storage (one of those I've posted just now)!

your outfits aren't well put together, I think you're putting too much thought into adding pieces which results in a mess, I also think you need to work with balance, it can't be too loud everywhere

Your outfits are very cute - the French country girl is something that a lot of people like. I think you should improve the looks by putting less pictures together (in your first look) since it looks crowded. The second look is a bit gimicky because of the signs. You should also work on making sure that your entire outfit can be viewed clearly, so people can really take in your outfit.

Overall, I think you have a really nice, easy-on-the-eye style, which is refreshing to see since LB is dominated by a lot of "out there" looks.

I like your looks a lot, but there seems to be a formula of putting a whole-body shot next too a close-up shot that's usually of a necklace. I would say, my only advice is to mix it up. Sometimes I'd like to see a closeup of shoes instead for instance, or maybe of the jewelry on your hand and the bag your hand is holding all in one shot. Play around with unique ways to do close-up and accessory shots.

Hmm, I find your looks very underhyped; you've plenty of nice looks. P'raps the lack of exposure or something.

Anyway, I notice your more recent looks are taken outside, which is a huge improvement from the older looks which are more poorly lit and blurry.

To some of your looks I think a simple leather shoulder bag would be a cute addition.

I'd like to see more long necklaces on you, and I like your long socks too. And I think a front shot of your looks would be great, as it's a shame that I can't see the front of some of the outfits you posted as you're facing backwards.

My favourite look of yours is lookbook.nu/look/2292809-DIY-skirt-from-mens-shirt-sleeves

your style is great, and i love some of the photo editing you did (like this one lookbook.nu/look/2558079-Paper-denim-and-cloth)! i like how your hair is dyed but it seems always to be tied up or in a hat--maybe you could try some different hairstyles that would complement your looks.

Nice looks, casual but still fashionable. I especially like the look named "Yes, THE Office.".

Some of your photos however, are a little bit small. Like "El Gato in a Sombrero" and "Cold day at the beach". :)

Also, cool name ;)

You've got some nice bases for great looks, but a couple of them could do with a touch of accessorising to just finish it off. A few bracelets and maybe a well-placed skinny belt in a bright colour will add a lot.

i really like your style and your dresses but somehow i feel like something is missing. (and by that i don't mean your face, i think it's ok not to show ur face to everyone if u don't want to) i guess i would love to see one outfit with jewelry. i noticed u had some nice necklaces in your earlier looks :) of course everyone has their own personal style but i just love jewelry, can't help it :)

Hi there. First, I wanna say that you're looks are actually great. And I like your figure, you're chubby but you're not skinny either. Lucky you! There's nothing bad with your photos, but it would be more interesting if you're not dead-center in the photo. And I noticed that you do wear tights a lot so try experimenting a bit. :)

Responding to the last person who gave someone else a critique, to keep the chain.

MJ, I like your simpler looks best, like
lookbook.nu/look/3388653-Princess-Of-Your-Heart and lookbook.nu/look/3369717-Crimson-Maid
I think the block of warm colour of the dresses suits you, and I think you look better in darker colours than, say, white. I'd like to see more full-body shots, including shoes!

Nice clothes but can't seem to really appreciate since all I can see are headless pics. Yeah, lookbook's about the look but it's rather hard to appreciate and relate to a headless mannequin.

Pieces on these looks I like :

Printed top : lookbook.nu/look/3458909-When-the-forest-turns-to-jade
The Checks : lookbook.nu/look/3371393-I-can-be-hurtful-I-can-be-purple
Ruffled skirt and boots : lookbook.nu/look/3203169-People-are-definitely-going-to-talk
Hyped ;)

I skipped over the last poster Johnny M, I don't get his looks and the way he posts at all. I guess that would be my critique.

I like your pics and looks, it's getting difficult to find something to say 'cause I really like your style and I don't understand lots of photography. I just think I'd like to see more, like, show all your body clearly in the photos, I think it's easier to see the look :) And show more of your feet, and I guess is just it. You are very stylish!

You're cute and I like your style. No one should be being rude around here but I hope you can appreciate constructive crit.

Consider layering some socks under your boots for a splash of colour? E.g. in the following looks:
lookbook.nu/look/3434017-ASHES-TO-ASHES
lookbook.nu/look/3495923-GIRLFRIEND-IN-A-COMA
lookbook.nu/look/3398675-all-thats-left-is-an-empty-shell-of-my-heart-that-is-crushed

Also, I know you sometimes do wear belts but belts on the jeans in some of your looks would be a nice detail too.

I dunno much about make-up but the make-up looks nice in this look. lookbook.nu/look/3434017-ASHES-TO-ASHES
