Do you feel like a lot of the top lookbook'ers are starting to dress the same? Where does personal style start and trends end?

What is your take on this?

I came to the conclusion that the mass likes repetative, "safe" clothing. That's my only explanation for not being bored of seing the exact same thing every day :D No drama intentions here either, these people must do this on purpose, plain marketing - if you can't be outstanding, serve the mass!

@Fizzle K.

She has an obvious fake red hair. Anyways, this is not bitching or anything, if you don't like this , don't open a forum like this. I do not hype, don't worry :D But honestly, just for you, even if i would be bitchy, i really don't give a shit!

I don't buy too much into what is trendy. I buy into age appropriate and sensible. If I am in the mood I buy the quirky thing :)

I think people copy because they run out of ideas. Thatd be funny if the next look book trend was dressing like farm animals. But I think thatd be a bit more fun to look at than all the litas in the hot page. Dont get me wrong I love JC but if I see another pair of litas im going to scream.

Exactly, the important thing should be your style, not trends. And comfort, for me :D And I like crazy stuff too, i mean i would look really dumb about my 50's with a bow in my hair or with a mickey mouse sweater on, so this is the time to do it! :D

I don't think so. I wouldn't hype the looks from so many different people if they all look the same. The only thing is, that I think some of them only get hyped because they can afford hundreds and thousands of designer bags and shoes, but well... There are still more good than bad looks! :)

as i was showing my mother lookbook today her response was "you guys all dress the same" I found it funny coming from a 3rd party, there is some truth in what she is saying, but obviously there are styles that are liked at this point in time and they are evolving as we watch the feed update day by day.

I completely agree with Fizzle K, most of the time I believe lookbookers don't realize that they're copying or "look the same" as everyone else. They're just trying to express their style.
