Aww yeah! ET's a right tear jerker!

Pollyanna is my biggest personal blubfest. I'm a complete sucker when it somes to sentimentality in films - doesn't matter how transparent! Bring on the tissues!

I know!!! Up was soo sad at the beginning :(
*opened Kiwi in another tab, will watch later*

I think the saddest movie is The Spitfire Grill. Which is also one of my favorites. But it was sooooooo sad. It's what my mom would call a "10 tissue-er" because you need 10 tissues during the movie (and usually sad movies are just 1-4 tissue-ers)

I know Up and the Pursuit of Happyness end with a "happy ending," but I thought it was rather sad. D: Well, the beginning part was. =]]

The Notebook
because my grandparents were middle school sweet hearts but my granddad got alzheimers just like the Ally, and its awful to watch the one part where she remembers, then forgets because that was what it was like for my grandparents :(

Also this ones sort of random but Land Before Time (the first one)
every frick'n time I watch that I cry when Little Foots mom dies and hes all by himself and thinks he sees her but its just his own shadow..
omg even writing it down makes me sad, wtf?

Sheesh. It's the animated movies that really pulls on my heart strings.

Up is the only movie that can get me crying in the first minutes. But then again, I believe most people cried in that part of the Up.

And there's one of Miyazaki's masterpieces, Grave of the Fireflies. Now THAT'S what I call a damn depressing movie.

I can't remember what's it called, but I cried when I saw a movie that was about 9/11.
I was having a major fight with my BFF and then I saw that movie and I just kept on crying and crying.

Also the Notebook was really sad, but I'm not really a "cry-while-watching-movie"-person.

-the hours
-a short film about love
-paranoid park

But she has managed to escape into her imagination... obviously it's bittersweet but I do think you could see it as 'her spirit being released,' it's not just she died and it's all bad - i mean her life was pretty awful...
