Mine is Picasso's Blue Nude

Not only because it's beautiful and thought provoking, but also because I have developed a sentimental attachment to it over the years.

I can't really say I have a favorite individual piece... but I've definitely had the strongest emotional response to this work by Félix Gonzalez-Torres at the AIC:

I've been there twice and cried each time at the pile of candy. Read this description for why:

It's not simply realism, it's photorealism, and on a crazy-massive scale. I know for some huge projects (as in, theatre sets) he works with a studio, but IIRC a lot of his big canvases are still only the product of his own hand. To churn out so many of them = mind blown

there are a lot works I am excited by and I can't name the only one picture, this is impossible, I think.
For example, I love all Dali and Da Vinci, they are different but both of them are genius. And also there are many modern artists and their works who deserve respect.

I get to see this one by Jackson Pollock at Moma often so I will call it my favorite. I always find new beauty in it every time. Another would be Guernica by Picasso which I have been able to see once.

It's certainly more than just a pile of candy. I recently saw a pile of candy at moma. All with the same silver wrappers and from the same artist. You could eat the candy if you wanted. I just too a piece home because I thought it was so beautiful. I didn't cry but certainly felt some emotion.

Although there are many works of art I find simply mesmerising, my absolute favourite would have to be:

'A Wheatfield with Cypresses' (September 1889) by Vincent Van Gogh

Never has a painting provoked such emotion in me. The dramatic swirls in glorious impasto, the vivid colours. So bright and yet so fierce. I've visited it twice at the National Gallery in London, and each time it astounds me!
At the end of the day, it's a beautiful painting which can be enjoyed for what it is!
I adore the impressionists, particularly Van Gogh.

There are some beautiful pieces of art above!

These are absolutely stunning!
I wasn't familiar with her works before - and she's from my hometown, which is interesting.

The colours are beautiful. In amongst the turbulence, there's something calming in them. Lovely to look at.

The most beautiful things I've ever seen was Bernini's Pluto & Proserpina and Apollo & Daphne. They are just such masterpieces. The idea that someone spend weeks making such a realistic statue from a piece of marmer gives me goosebumps.
But I don't have a favourite work art. I love so much!!! Favourite artist are Edvard Munch, Egon Schiele, Gustav Moreau, Gustav Klimt, Zdislaw Beksinski and many more,
