Sense and Sensibility is very similar. You might also like Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte.

The Brontë sisters have some great novels that are very similar to Jane Austen's style, although I find they sometimes have a darker undertone. Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë is a good read though :)

Dombey & Son offers a darker spin on the whole pride vs love motif, but if you want more of a lovey dovey kinda thing then the Bronte's are totally where it's at. I highly recommend Mansfield Park too if you haven't read it; probably my second favorite Austen novel (after Pride & Prejudice of course!).

I liked Northanger Abbey, it is naive and has gothic novel features but fun, Austen is making fun of that all. Try it, or watch the movie, I liked it too, it actually made me to want to read the book :D

I also like Jane Austen's persuasion, sense and sensibility and Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights. I also like the 2009 movie adaption of wuthering heights with Tom Hardy.
