Hello everyone ! :)

I need your help, I found a penpal thanks to this forum a few months ago, we get on well and we share the love of fashion. We send eachother packages because it's really exciting to send and receive surprises from another country, you discover many new things!

But I haven't any ideas of what I should send her anymore....
So if you are French and you have any suggestions or if you are from another country but you lived in France before, what did you like to buy? I want someting that she can't find in America!
Oh, and if you would received a French package, what would you want to discover inside of it ? :)

Thanks !

Léna !

PS: I hope she won't read this post ahah !

Are there any brands that are only sold in France for clothing or makeup? There may be local craftspeople who design their own jewellery; she wouldn't be able to get that exact piece anywhere else (:

I'm trying to find some brands that she can't find in the US but there are not many ones left! For exemple "L'Occitane" or "Yves Rocher" ( beauty products) are now sold overthere! I was really surprised when I heard that :o
But yes, I will try to find some local jewellery thank you for your help :) ! I'm really "lost' ahah !

Maybe you could send some sweets ore traditional food :)
Or you can take some inception pictures, so you print one picture of your penpal and take her to the Eiffel Tour :)

I remember buying a tiny hand cream when I went to Paris, I think it was by the name "Baume des Tigresses". It always reminded me of France, and it is not too big = perfect for mailing! Or maybe you could send an album from a french artist or band, or a mixtape with your favourite traditional french songs!! Good luck xx

:) Go to your pharmacy and buy her some typical french pharmacy beauty products. According to the UK newspapers (and okay I admit, I feel the same too) there is a current obsession with pharmacy beauty remedies from france. You have so much stuff that isn't common in the US, a little bottle of eau micellaire from Bioderma maybe? the super nice hand cream from nuxe that smells of honey (reve de miel)? The secret of the beauty artists for nice lips (homeoplasmine) ? :) or the nuxe body oiln (huile prodigieuse) that smells like no other body oil :D!? Maybe even some phyto hair products ?

I hope this helps =)) at least that's what I would love to get if I had a french penpal :D and couldn't get them here

I've always wanted something vintage from France, so if she is also into that sort of thing maybe you could find something different from an opshop or market :)

Actually, I thought about this! I was hesitating because I don't know if she would like this, but maybe every girl is into beauty products so.... I'm addicted to the "huile prodigieuse"!
Thanks you soo much for your help :D
