who is everyone's favourite characters from kids books? i loved mrs pepperpot, pippi longstocking, hands christian anderson stories and the moomins (big scandi love even when i was young). i also liked enid blyton and her adventure series, the famous five and the secret seven until i realised how outdated she was and how ridiculous some of these stories and characterisations are

It's hard to remember...I guess there weren't any particular characters that stand out to me, but I do remember liking the Boxcar Children series, the Chronicles of Narnia, and the Giver.

Not just from books, but also TV shoes and comic books.

Pippi Longstockings, Hanni & Nanni, Dolly, the last unicorn, queen millenia, saber rider, galaxy rangers, little misses (is that the correct Engl. title?), Wicki and the vikings, Harry Potter, Lucky Luke, Asterix.

I actually spent my childhood reading comics about really famous people like Buddha, Columbus, even Nelson Mandela haha
And since I was super crazy about japanese manga, I'd say Conan Edogawa & Cardcaptor Sakura are my favorite childhood characters.

Yes, Pippi! Also Trixie Belden and Nancy Drew, Le Petit Prince, Jo from Little Women, Thumbelina (and also The Littles... I loved anything about being really small and insignificant and trying to persevere in a very big world).
