for those with blogs (this is not an invitation to spam this thread with links to yours, actually bother to read the topic before thinking of doing so please), what kind of topic do you use as fillers for those days that you want to give your blog some love but don't have anything that interesting to report? if you don't have a fashion blog, do you fill in the gaps with some outfit pictures? do you conduct random interviews with yourself for fun and as a way for your followers to know more about you? or do you just talk about socks? do tell

i don't have a proper blog (well you know this already!) but i always need a lot of content for my facebook style blog! i have three tricks that i use constantly as fillers:

1) Outfit throwbacks! I'll repost an outfit from a year ago or so and maybe talk about how my hair was different or how i would style a particular item from that outfit now.

2) Style tips! I'll come up with a theme or a new style tip i wanna talk about (because it doesn't take much effort so even if you're really out of content, you can still come up with a style tip!) then ill put together a series of my outfits that fits the particular style tip that im talking about! (not sure if you've seen these on my page before???)

3) Other ppl's contents! If im really truly out of stuff to post. i post amazing fashion pics that i love and am inspired by! usually it's fashion photography stuff that has amazing clothes, makeup, hair, model and of course, amazing photography skills!

I've started blogging (and drafting blogs) about the wardrobe of fictional characters I admire, if that makes any sense. I can think of specific outfits worn by TV and movie characters that I'd like to recreate myself or with outfit pieces I've found online. I watch a lot of TV and movies, so I suppose that's why I draw inspiration from them.

On occasion I will do wishlist style posts (like this: dulciedulcie.com/2013/12/pink-sparkling-for-christmas-new-year.html)

But I think if you don't really have anything interesting to report, just don't blog that day! Quality is better than quantity and your readers will respect you more for posting about things that mean something to you rather than just anything!
