I've never really been into fanfic - other than when one of my friends wrote a fanfiction around my favourite TV show at the time. They in turn encouraged me and I wrote two pieces based on the TV show (one a one-off sort of internal monologue, and one a continuation of what he had done. Like a guest writer I guess.). That was back in maybe 8th or 9th grade though.

I know some of my friends read and enjoy it - but I guess it's just not really my thing :)

I'm a total fanfic girl LOL as embarrassing as it is to admit. I have them on a different site, and to be honest it was really stress relieving and nice to write. I'm totally into the kpop, avengers (marvel, really), and game of thrones fandoms hahaha

Yeah, I must admit that I also read them, and I'm not very proud of that XD
I tried to write one some years ago, but then I quit... I wanted it to be so perfect, but it was never as good as I wanted to, so I just decided to let it go.
I used to read fanfics from Pride and Prejudice, but nowadays, I usually spend some time reading the Arrow ones.
