I saw this too, maybe it has something to do with the possibility to vote for comments? That´s a new feature too.

it means we can like a comment that someone has made and they get comment karma but i don't know if that adds up to anything as regards to average or general karma on a profile

It was a duplicate topic. But no matter, all of the conversation and suggestions will be on here. by clicking the arrow, you are giving people comment karma for their comments, for on the forum or on a look or on a blog post. i am going to ask about what use this function has and update you guys on it when i get an answer

I have to say the comment karma is a GREAT feature to stick it to the comment spammers! By liking peoples comments (when they are genuine and more thought out that spambot nonsense like writing 'adorable' on a picture of dishwasher) we are rewarding people who take the time to write a nice, well thought out comment. I love this feature and i'm going back through all my old looks and liking the comments that aren't generic spam. :D

Hey guys! Any news on this? What does really the "comment karma" does? I'm not satisfied with some of the answers. Does it add up to the chance of getting to the new or hot page? thanks!
