yeah, ghost in the shell is great as well, in fact the movies, the series seemed to be cut in small stories which wasn't that exciting.

oh yes, it is, i agree! :D it has such a great story, and characters and you can interpret it (or at least try to :) to infinity cause it is so multi-layered with all those philosophical references and characters. some of my other favorites are Berserk, Wolf's Rain and 12 Kingdoms!
